The Essex based club have parted company with manager Jamie Day after only twelve games at the helm.
The Iron have struggled this season, only having won twice all season. They sit 22nd in the National League, which is surely a disappointment considering they finished third last season, missing out on promotion via the playoffs.
A short statement was released via the clubs official twitter, reading:
“We can confirm that 1st team manager Jamie Day has left the club by mutual consent. We would like to thank Jamie and wish all the best To him in the coming future. Both Jamie and the club agreed that two wins in twelve games is not what we both hoped for, and now we move on.”
The club will now have to start the search for a new manager to take the club forward and get them moving back up the table.
Prior to taking over at Cressing Road, Day had stints at Welling United and Ebbsleet United as manager, before a short period as assistant manager at Forest Green Rovers.
